In our present time, we cannot refuse the reality that the technology is stealing our kid's attention from being active. The various game gadgets and extreme use of computers and television are main obstacles for them to do the normal physical activities that they must be doing.

If you think that keeping your kid inside the house with such new generation game gadgets is best for them, then you should think again! You should understand that he/she is still a kid. You have to know the significance of developing their physical skills and social relationship with other kids.

Here are some tips that will make your kid active and healthy.

  • Create a small playground somewhere in your house. You may ask some of your kid's neighbors and classmates to spend an afternoon play.
  • Register your kid to a special sports center where he/she can improve his/her interests in any sport
  • Teach your kid on how to ride a bicycle.
  • Plan a monthly sports fest.
  • Limit your youngster from spending time in playing game gadgets and computers
